Arconic is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our Aluminum Extrusion (AEX) business unit in Lafayette, IN.
Profile : The primary purpose of this role is to improve work force productivity and work quality by eliminating in advance potential delays and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of parts, tools, equipment time, and crafts people.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions: The Maintenance Planner within AEX requires technical and interpersonal skills essential to team work. Major duties include but are not limited to:
Responsibility for providing cost-effective scheduled work across the plant.
Using a combination of supervisory and technical skills to facilitate performance and effective working relationships between production and maintenance at all levels within the organization.
General duties for the Maintenance Planner include but are not limited to:
Analyzing current conditions using Oracle EAM program and developing a plan to optimize work scheduling.
Training maintenance personnel in the use of the maintenance planning system.
Scheduling predictive and preventative maintenance.
Maintaining an asset management database, including equipment information and repair histories.
Systematizing and documenting planning activities.
Qualifications
Basic
Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in planning
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Qualifications:
Strong mechanical background obtained through technical training and field experience
Competent in Oracle EAM, with a solid understanding of the broader Oracle system
Microsoft Office and Project knowledge
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use of CAD software
High level of attention to detail
Good oral communication skills
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with proven ability to influence others and manage multiple prioritiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
