TBIRD Design Services is a Surveying and Civil Engineering firm centered on trust-based client relations and project satisfaction through all stages of the job.

The ideal candidate for this position:
-Formal coursework in CAD and engineering drawings -1
years' experience in engineering design/drafting (with AutoCAD Civil3D preferred) -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook) -Ability to manage own time effectively and efficiently, and value the time of others -Successful social and communication skills -Strong desire to improve the community through engineering, ethics, and service Project Designer Job Responsibilities (Design Tech I or Design Tech II):
Design Tech I:
Under general supervision, carries out a variety of drafting assignments using independent judgment and initiative.
Designs and prepares drawings according to engineering and surveying specifications using Civil 3D and/or other design software.
Retrieves and processes information from survey or architectural files, edits drawings/designs, and produces hard copies.
Reviews engineering and surveying drawings/documentation and resolves undefined details.
May have technical training and typically possess zero to three years' experience.
Design Tech II:
In addition to above, assists professionals in design, planning, and execution of projects.
Carries out more complex assignments using independent judgment.
May have college degree or advanced technical training, typically with zero to five years' experience.
