Job Description:
The IMA Group is looking for an Experienced Medical Field Case Manager to coordinate medical treatment for patients who have incurred on the job injuries.
This will be field or telephonic workers compensation cases.
This will include but not limited to assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured workers.
The Case Manager works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, and closely monitors the progress of the injured worker and reports results back to the employer and insurance carriers.
This will be a CONTRACT POSITION (1099).
Qualifications- Must have Malpractice Liability Insurance (or obtain it) Must have at least 3 years' experience of Workers Compensation Case Management Excellent PC and technology skills Must have one of the following recommended certifications (RN, CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC, QRP, LCP, CNLCP, COHN) Must have flexible schedule to accept cases & familiar with contract (1099) work.
Bilingual is a plus.
Must have own computer & phone.
Recommended Skills Case Management Health Care Link Control Protocol Workers' Compensation Telephone Call Reception Management Certified Occupational Health Nurse Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
