Our Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) team is leading on wide-ranging initiatives to make Primient an industry leader in all aspects of EHS - from switching away from coal power to providing a psychologically safe working environment.
The Global EHSS Management System and Internal Audit Lead will lead the EHSS Compliance Audit function across Primient.
These assessments are a critical part of our overall governance structure.
The assessments are completed in conjunction with the support of our EHSQS Community of experts within each region and the EHSQS HQ Team, Each assessment will have elements of:
o Culture assessment o Compliance auditing o EHS Management system auditing o Coaching/mentoring o Report preparation and delivery Key
Responsibilities:
EHSS Management System and Internal Auditing Programs o Leads and performs EHSS compliance audits and culture assessments and prepares associated and required reports.
o Supports the Local and EHSQS HQ Team with developing improvements in our Policies, Training and procedures.
o Prepares and presents opening and closing meetings, plus all other accompanying other necessary communications; o Ensures processes, policies and practices are interpreted and applied consistently and effectively across Primient o Be able to lead multiple projects concurrently, and deliver comprehensive communications upon completion o Coaching and Mentoring play a pivotal role in sustainable development within the Journey Model and as such should be seen as key responsibility for this position o Works with the EHSS Council members to develop and implement the Primient EHSS management system - Journey 2.

ABOUT YOU o Bachelor's Degree in environmental management, health and safety, engineering or closely related field o Five years' experience in safety or environmental auditing/assessing programs, quality engineering and systems.
o Working with and in a cultural maturity model, assisting in development of a sustainable EHS (QS) culture locally/regionally/globally (desirable) o Experience as a certified auditor for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Compliance Governance of systems and/or OSHA Special Government Employee.
o EHS assurance and assessment practices and procedures and reliability requirements.
o Transit, Rail safety, environmental assurance, control principles and requirements, fundamentals of auditing, industrial and local jurisdiction standards for inspection and testing.
o Applicable EHS Compliance/regulatory programs.
o Quality knowledge of FSSC22000 assessments (desirable) o Responding to inquiries and in effective oral and written communication.
