com/PurdueFCU/PurdueExternalPortalpurduefedcareerssilkroadcom Purdue Federal Credit Union has an exciting paid internship opportunity in our Audit Department for an undergraduate in the Purdue Krannert School of Management with a declared major in accounting, finance or business.
The internship is approximately 20 hours per week during the school semester and 40 hours per week in the summer months.
Purdue Federal has a dynamic Internal Audit team; supporting staff and members everywhere.
Internship opportunities include:
Assisting with audit preparation work for Internal Audits, External Audits, and Regulatory Exams.
This will include documentation gathering, research, and file/account testing.
Conduct regular monthly activity items such as closed account letters and signature card review.
Use Microsoft Office Suite to create, develop and use analytical spreadsheets.
There will also be opportunities for special projects as needed and deemed appropriate to the position.
Required SkillsQualifications include:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
