Project Manager

Job Summary The Project Manager will provide strategic support to the Dean's Fellow for Digital Agriculture to grow the College's digital agriculture/data science presence and facilitate the growing artificial intelligence connections across all three mission areas.
In this role, you will work independently to implement key day-to-day activities and participate in strategic direction and prioritization as well as manage key projects, including but not limited to meeting/event support; coordination of marketing and communications efforts; and grant writing support.
In addition, you will be responsible for completing assessments to evaluate and integrate change to enhance processes and procedures to ensure continued success.
What You'll Be Doing:
Establish working relationships with internal (within Purdue across colleges) and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the college's digital agriculture/data science activities Manage the logistics and promotion of multiple programs and events for both internal and external audiences, including seminars, webinars, conferences, and meetings in collaboration with offices such as Ag Research and Graduate Education Support the Digital Agriculture website and events calendar by updating and reviewing content to ensure accurate and timely information Manage the production of a Digital Ag newsletter, including the sourcing of relevant content; pitching content topics to the Digital Ag team; setting timelines for content contributed by other writers; organizing the layout and graphics for the newsletter; and editing for grammar, spelling, style, and adherence to the Purdue marketing guidelines Assist with preparation of flyers, slide decks, and other informational literature for promoting the College's Digital Agriculture efforts Produce and edit Data-Driven Seminar Series recordings for the Digital Ag website repository and YouTube playlist Assist with setting and communicating agendas and disseminating necessary documents ahead of meetings to ensure productive, on-task working sessions Work with key business offices within the College to ensure timely payment of invoices and the correct usage of funding sources and accounts Assist the Dean's Fellow for Digital Agriculture and external speakers with travel reimbursement documentation on Concur Document and track processes, including completing assessments and implementing minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness Periodically tabulate enrollment in College of Agriculture courses that contribute to the Data Driven Agriculture Minor and the Data Science Undergraduate Certificate or other Intelligent Agriculture programs What We're Looking For:
Bachelors degree 2 years of relevant work experience in project management or strategic planning In lieu of degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered (Associates
4 years of experience; HS/GED
6 years of experience) Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines Demonstrate independent thinking and decision-making Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organization, flexibility, and attention to detail Ability to communicate and work with faculty and staff at all levels, as well as external constituents Must be a self-starter with a strong curiosity to learn new technologies and constantly evolve on the job Strong computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, virtual meeting software (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx), and cloud storage platforms (SharePoint, Google, Box, OneNote, etc.
), as well as other platforms such as IBM Cognos Analytics, Qualtrics, Delivra, Marq, Cascade, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, and Airtable What We'd Like You to Know:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
