WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Medication Administration Administers medication as per Policy and Scope of Practice.
Patient Care Duties Assists in triaging patients under the direction of the RN.
Patient Care Duties Participates in patient care duties and treatments as directed by physician or nursing staff.
EKG Performs 12 Lead EKG's.
Phlebotomies Performs phlebotomies.
Waiting Room Assessments Performs waiting room reassessments at appropriate intervals.
Medication Administration Receives assignment from the Emergency Department Charge Nurse for patient care duties or departmental needs.
Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring Performs cardiac monitoring duties to ensure accurate monitoring of patient condition.
QUALIFICATIONSRequired High School Diploma/GED2 years Emergency Department or Ambulance Service Required Licensed Paramedic (PARA) -.
