Maintenance Position JOB DESCRIPTION Role and Responsibilities Perform routine groundskeeping and building maintenance duties on all Township buildings and shelters Perform manual work necessary to maintain cleanliness, orderliness, appearance, and sanitation of Township grounds, driveways, walks, and buildings Work is performed within established procedures under both written and verbal instructions Utilize landscaping equipment Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others Ability to lift 100 lbs.

Communicate orally and respectfully with clients, customers, or the public 3.
Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements 4.
Work cooperatively with other Township employees, Township clients, Workfare clients, social services agencies, and the public Qualifications and Education Requirements Preferred Skills High school diploma or general education Should have knowledge of carpentry hand degree (GED) and one year of responsible tools, power tools, yard tools, and other yard experience in groundskeeping or an equipment.
