Installation Team Lead
Lafayette, IN Lafayette, IN Full-time Full-time $25 - $29 an hour $25 - $29 an hour We are looking for a skilled individual with the experience and capability to problem solve unique installations in a wide variety of industrial and commercial settings.
This a great opportunity to work in a team with other mechanically inclined individuals focused on the installation and fabrication of specialized products including:
material handling equipment, operable walls, restroom partitions and quality commercial furnishings.
Your Role:
Install products in commercial and industrial settings.
Utilize lifts, scaffolding and rigging to complete installations or move heavy equipment.
Apply understanding of mechanics and construction through the use of hand tools and precise measuring instruments.
Lead and manage a crew to successfully complete a project.
Collaborate with designers and project managers on installation scheduling, product design and implementation of technical projects.
Read and understand product schematics, instruction manuals and job site maps.
Demonstrate proper care for tools and follow safe work habits including understanding of PPE and fall protection.
Maintains rapport with customers through positive interactions and collaboration when necessary.
