GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Installation Technician position is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery and setup of residential softener and/or water treatment systems for Franklin Water Treatment customers.
$2,000 Signing Bonus Eligible for Annual Franklin Incentive Plan Offer competitive benefits, including 401(k) with Company Match and Service Contribution Must have a good driving record and be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card that is paid by Franklin Water Treatment ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Follow detailed service instructions, processes, and procedures.
Meets daily service schedule as assigned.
Uses available parts to assemble various water treatment equipment or kits according to operating instructions.
Safely operate the assigned Installation vehicle.
Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Service Supervisor.
Maintains a clean and organized Installation vehicle appropriately supplied with the proper tools and parts.
Education and Experience Valid driver's license.
1-3 years or more experience working in a plumbing type position (preferred).
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES While performing the functions of this job, the employee is:
Continually required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Regularly required to sit or stand and to walk.
Regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
